| Obverse description | Central device depicts the traditional Bhutanese royal emblem: two intricately detailed dragons facing each other in high relief, their sinuous bodies encircling a central double vajra (thunderbolt) symbol set atop a lotus flower, rendered in fine ornamental style. The upper legend reads KINGDOM OF BHUTAN in Latin characters arcing around the rim, flanked on either side by the date 1992 in the field. The lower legend bears the Dzongkha inscription འབྲུག་རྒྱལ་ཁབ་ in Tibetan script along the bottom rim. |
