| Obverse description | Conjoined portrait effigies of Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel facing right, occupying the central field. The legend surrounding the portrait identifies the couple by name and records the date of their marriage. The designer's initials 'EN' appear to the right of the portrait group. The overall design is rendered in a contemporary medallic style befitting a royal commemorative issue. |

Issued to mark the June 2010 marriage of Crown Princess Victoria to Daniel Westling, a former personal trainer whose commoner background made the union genuinely contentious in certain court circles — the Riksdag had to amend the Act of Succession in 1980 to allow Victoria to inherit the throne over her younger brother Carl Philip, and the choice of husband renewed debate about the monarchy's public role. Sweden struck commemoratives for the occasion across multiple formats; this silver issue was the premium tier.
