Reverse description At center, the Pillars of Hercules rise prominently, each column entwined with a band bearing the motto PLVS VLTRA, with the Madrid mint mark (M) positioned below. Encircling this central device, within a concentric band, are the obverse and reverse likenesses of four historic thalers: a Reichsthaler, a Leeuwendaalder (Lion Dollar), a Speciedaler, and, in the lower arc, a Maria Theresa Thaler. The entire composition is framed by an outer guilloche border of pine-nut motifs, interrupted at the upper and lower poles. The peripheral legend reads ESPAÑA 2017 300 EURO PLUS ULTRA M.
