(Translation: Elizabeth II Queen by the grace of God)
Reverse description The reverse displays the full heraldic achievement of the Coat of Arms of the Province of Ontario, engraved by Steven Stewart. The central escutcheon bears the Cross of St. George in chief and three golden maple leaves on a green field in base, supported on the dexter by a moose and on the sinister by a Canadian deer, both standing as rampant supporters. A black bear passant serves as the crest above the shield, positioned atop a wreath. Below the shield, a scroll ribbon bears the provincial motto in three sections reading 'VT INCEPIT FIDELIS SIC PERMANET.' The denomination '300 DOLLARS • CANADA' arcs along the upper legend, with 'Ontario' and the date '2013' inscribed in the lower field.
