Reverse description The reverse features a finely detailed, naturalistic depiction of a ground sloth (Megatherium) rendered in high relief, shown in a semi-upright posture grasping the branch of a leafed tree with its powerful forelimbs, surrounded by additional trees and low vegetation suggestive of a prehistoric woodland environment. The date 2010 appears to the right within the inner circle, and the engraver's initials KB are inscribed at lower left of the central design. The legend CANADA arches along the upper periphery, while 300 DOLLARS curves along the lower periphery; the purity mark 9995 Pt appears at the bottom of the inner circle below the central motif.
