Aanvullende informatie

The Perth Mint's kilogram-and-beyond silver issues in the Lunar series have been produced since the late 1990s, but the 10-kilogram format occupies a peculiar commercial niche — too large for any conventional display, too expensive for most collectors, yet consistently sold out on release. The 2024 dragon year closes the second full twelve-year Lunar II cycle, making this the final dragon issue before the series resets.

At 221mm across, the planchet itself requires specialized rolling and annealing processes that the Perth Mint does not share with its standard bullion production line.
