Obverse description Central view of the Cathedral of St. James (Katedrala sv. Jakova) in Šibenik, rendered in fine relief against a plain field. The Yugoslav state emblem — a torch with a flame encircled by a wreath — appears in the upper right of the field. The bilingual legend in both Latin and Cyrillic scripts, reading 'SFR JUGOSLAVIJA' and 'СФР ЈУГОСЛАВИЈА', arcs along the left and right rims respectively. The denomination '300' appears prominently in large numerals at the lower center, flanked by the currency designations 'ДИНАРА', 'DINARA', and 'DINARJEV' in the lower field. The date '1978' and the mint mark 'AM' are inscribed at the upper left, with 'ŠIBENIK' noted below the cathedral.
