Obverse description The crowned Polish eagle — the national emblem of the Republic of Poland — is depicted in high relief at the centre of the field, its wings spread and head turned to the right. A stylised landscape band with horizontal lines appears in the lower portion of the field behind the eagle's talons, evoking an open horizon. The circumferential legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA arcs along the upper periphery in Latin characters. The date 1993 is inscribed below the eagle, and the denomination 300000 ZŁ appears prominently in the lower field. The mint mark MW is incorporated into the design as authorised by the Mint of Poland.
