The city arms of Annweiler — an eagle on a crowned shield — is printed in orange at centre, flanked symmetrically by two decorative scroll vignettes, with the denomination "Mk. 300 000" in large bold type to the left and "300 000 Mk." to the right. The heading "Gutschein" is set in large Gothic script at the top, the issuing authority and place-date below, and two manuscript signatures at the foot are accompanied by a circular red official stamp of the Stadtverwaltung Annweiler. |

The denomination "300 000 Mk." is overprinted in large Gothic red-brown numerals across the centre of the image, with the printer's imprint in small type at the lower right. |
