Reverse description The reverse depicts three Sufi whirling dervishes (semazen) in full flowing white robes, rendered in dynamic motion across the lower field in a stylized artistic composition. Above them, set within a circular cartouche, appears a bearded portrait of Mevlana Jalal ad-Din Rumi wearing a tall turban, executed in fine relief. Elegant floral and foliate scrollwork decorates the upper rim, framing the portrait medallion with graceful arabesques and blossoms in the Ottoman decorative tradition. The engraver's initials 'LMK' appear discreetly in the lower right field. The field is mirror-polished proof quality, providing strong contrast against the frosted design elements.
