Reverse description A two-line central inscription within a beaded inner circle reading ΤΟΡΝΕΣΙΑ / ΤΡΙΑΝΤΑ (Tornesia Trianta, meaning 'Thirty Tornesi'), surrounded by a Greek circular legend naming the Doge. Three small stars and a rosette ornament appear in the spaces between the inner circle and the outer legend, as visible on the coin. The overall layout is characteristic of Venetian billon coinage struck for Cretan circulation.
