Reverse description Full-length standing figure of Saint John the Baptist, the Order's patron, depicted in classical drapery, holding a long processional banner or reed cross in his right hand, with the Lamb of God (Agnus Dei) recumbent at his feet to the right. The composition is rendered in fine baroque style with careful attention to the saint's flowing robes and the lamb's detailed fleece. The Latin legend NON SVRREXIT MAIOR encircles the upper field, quoting Matthew 11:11 in reference to Saint John. The denomination T XXX (30 Tarì) appears in the exergue, separated from the reverse field by a decorative line.
