| Descrizione del rovescio | Central field displaying a bold cruciform design formed by interlocking rounded lobes or pellets arranged in a cross pattern, a decorative motif characteristic of Portuguese Indian copper coinage of the Maria I period. The cross-like arrangement of circular elements occupies the majority of the flan, rendered in relatively high relief compared to the obverse. The flan edges are irregular and slightly flan-cracked, consistent with the hammered manufacture at the Diu mint. The field surrounding the central device is largely unadorned.
