The central field is divided into three vertical registers: two octagonal landscape vignettes — one at left showing birch trees and a rural structure, the other at right showing a tree-lined countryside scene — flank a central cartouche in a stylised Art Nouveau house-shaped frame bearing the hand-lettered inscription 'Notgeld der Gemeinde Windegg' in Gothic script. Denomination numerals '30' appear in each corner, with the word 'HELLER' repeated along the upper and lower margins; to the right, a circular official municipality stamp reads 'GEMEINDE-VORSTEHING BEZIRK MAUTHAUSEN O.-ÖST. WINDEGG'. |
