Beschrijving voorzijde Plain salmon-pink Notgeld voucher printed in black letterpress on thin paper, with a bold serrated decorative border framing the entire note. The denomination 'dreißig Heller' is set in large bold type at the centre, above and below which the issuing text names the Ortsgemeinde Schönberg as guarantor. The foot of the note carries the anti-counterfeiting warning and the signature line of Ortsvorsteher Johann Hennerbichler, with no pictorial vignette or guilloche underprint.

Opmerkingen

Austrian Notgeld, issued by a small commune almost certainly during the acute coin shortage that followed World War One. These hyperlocal emergency notes were produced by the thousands across Austria between roughly 1919 and 1922, with individual municipalities — villages included — authorized to print their own fractional currency when federal coinage simply wasn't reaching circulation in usable quantities.

The single signature of Johann Hennerbichler places authority at the municipal level, likely the Bürgermeister or a designated communal official. No printer attribution has been recorded for this piece.
