| Obverse description | Beige and blue Notgeld note with a fine wavy-line guilloche underprint across the left two-thirds of the face. The denomination '30 Heller' is set in large Gothic script at centre-left, framed above by the legend 'Kassenschein über' and below by 'der Gemeinde Kössen in Tirol', with the validity clause 'Gültig bis 31. Jänner 1921' and the place-date 'Kössen, Juni 1920'. To the right, a boldly engraved heraldic Austrian eagle displayed within a shield vignette, rendered in blue on a white ground within a blue rectangular border.
