Beschrijving voorzijde Plain paper ground with a fine woven texture serves as the field for bold blackletter (Fraktur) typography throughout. At upper left, an ornate decorative initial capital 'D' with compass-rose motif anchors the denomination inscription 'Dreißig Heller' in large script; below, a five-line text block in Gothic lettering states the guarantee of redemption by the Notgeld-Sammlerbund in Innsbruck, Tirol, valid from 15 to 31 December 1920. At lower centre, the issuance date 'Innsbruck, am 1. Juni 1920' is flanked by three manuscript signatures for the Obmann, Säckelwart, and Obmann-Stellvertreter, while at lower right a circular red wax-seal vignette bearing the numeral '30' and the legend 'Notgeld-Sammlerbund Innsbruck' serves as the authenticating device.

Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse is printed in ochre, brown, and terracotta tones with a stylised stone-rustication pattern forming the overall background field. At centre, a circular vignette presents a detailed street scene of an Innsbruck old-town lane, with tall historic façades converging toward a domed church tower and alpine peaks beyond. The Tyrolean eagle coat of arms in orange and brown occupies the upper left, while the municipal arms of Innsbruck on an orange shield appear at upper right. The denomination '30 H.' is set in large bold numerals at lower left and lower right, with the serial number 'No. 00456' at lower left and the validity legend 'Giltig bis 31. Dez. 20.' at lower right; the issuer name 'Notgeld-Sammlerbund Innsbruck' runs in large Fraktur script across the bottom, with the print run designation '1. AUFLAGE.' at the extreme lower left.

Opmerkingen

The Notgeld-Sammlerbund Innsbruck was not a municipality or bank but a collectors' association — one of the more unusual issuers to produce circulating emergency currency during Austria's post-war notgeld period. By 1920, notgeld had become so collectible that hobbyist organizations began issuing their own series, blurring the line between genuine emergency money and philatelic production. This note sits squarely in that ambiguous territory.

Three named signatories — chairman, deputy chairman, and treasurer — is unusually formal governance for what was essentially a club scrip.
