Hofkirchen im Mühlkreis, a small market town in Upper Austria's Mühlviertel region, issued these notes locally to keep everyday transactions functional.
The "b" variant designation in the Jaksc reference suggests at least two distinct printings or paper varieties within the 30 Heller denomination for this issuer — worth examining carefully against the type specimen.
