| Obverse description | Printed in violet on cream paper, the note is divided into two horizontal registers: the upper register carries the issuing authority's name in Gothic Kurrent script at centre, flanked by large numeral '30' denominators within decorative cartouches and the denomination words 'Dreißig' and 'Heller' in oval frames at the upper corners, with manuscript signature lines for the Bürgermeister and Vizebürgermeister positioned between the registers. The lower register presents a line-engraved riverside vignette of the village of Feldkirchen an der Donau, with buildings and their water reflections enclosed within ornamental scrollwork borders. The guarantee text of the municipality in Gothic Kurrent script runs across the lower portion of the upper register. |

| Reverse description | Printed in violet on cream paper, the reverse is centred on a line-engraved vignette of the Landgut Bergheim manor house set amid trees and landscaped grounds, with the caption 'Landgut Bergheim' inscribed above the image. Below the vignette, the municipal guarantee text and redemption notice are set in Gothic Kurrent script across multiple lines, concluding with an anti-counterfeiting notice ('Nachmachung gef. verboten'). Manuscript signature lines for the Bürgermeister Josef Rachbauer and the Vizebürgermeister appear at the lower left and right respectively. |

Austrian municipal notgeld — Gemeindegeld — proliferated after 1918 as the collapsing Habsburg economy left small communities without workable coinage. Feldkirchen an der Donau, a small Upper Austrian market commune on the Danube's north bank, issued this 30 Heller note as part of that wave. The denomination itself is telling: 30 Heller notes were uncommon in municipal series, most communes gravitating toward rounder values, which may reflect a specific local pricing need rather than a standard issue decision.
The Jaksch/Pick reference JPR0197g places it firmly in the documented Upper Austrian series, though surviving quantities for individual Feldkirchen denominations remain difficult to establish with precision.
