| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central design features a stork in full flight, wings outstretched, rendered in high relief against a proof-quality mirrored field, symbolising the reincorporation of Prekmurje into Slovenia and the region's enduring emblem of rebirth and protection. The bird is depicted flying from east to west, as conceived by designer Matej Ramšak. A quotation from Jožef Klekl the Elder, drawn from the 17 August 1919 edition of the local newspaper Novine, is inscribed in the Prekmurje dialect of Slovene: 'DECA STE LÜBLENE SLOVENSKE MATERE', meaning 'You are children of the beloved Slovene mother'. The legend 'PRIKLUČITEV PREKMURJA K MATIČNI DOMOVINI' (Incorporation of Prekmurje into the homeland) and the date '2019' complete the inscriptions arranged within the field. |
