| Obverse description | Draped and uniformed bust of Maximilian IV Joseph, Elector of Bavaria, facing right, rendered in high relief with fine portrait detail typical of early 19th-century Bavarian die work. The effigy displays the subject in military dress with a queue visible at the nape of the neck. The encircling legend reads MAXIMILIAN IOSEPH CHURFÜRST ZU PFALZBAIERN, disposed along the upper and lower periphery of the field. The coin exhibits a broad, flat border with edge reeding visible at the rim. |
