| Obverse description | Conjoined busts of King Constantine II and Queen Anne-Marie facing left in high relief, the King prominently in the foreground wearing a heavily decorated military uniform with epaulettes and medals visible at the lower right. The Queen's effigy appears slightly set back, her hair softly styled. A circular Greek legend runs along the upper periphery identifying the royal couple as sovereigns of the Hellenes. The engraver's initials 'B.A.' appear in the lower right field. |
