Liberia has no functioning domestic mint and contracts virtually all its commemorative coinage to foreign producers — in this case almost certainly a European or Asian private mint issuing under Liberian authority in name only. The face value of 30 Dollars bears no relationship to any circulating Liberian monetary denomination in practical use.
At 0.155 g of fine gold, this is among the smallest gold coin formats commercially produced — a tenth of a standard 1/10oz piece.
