| Obverse description | The full national arms of Antigua and Barbuda occupies the central field, depicting a quartered shield bearing a rising sun and sugar mill tower, supported by two fallow deer rearing on either side, and surmounted by a helmet with a pineapple crest. A scroll below the shield bears the national motto EACH ENDEAVOURING ALL ACHIEVING. The circumferential legend ANTIGUA & BARBUDA INDEPENDENCE NOVEMBER 1981 arcs around the upper portion of the field, while the date 1982 and the denomination 30 DOLLARS appear in the lower field below the arms. |
