Aanvullende informatie

The Year of the Rat 1kg silver issue sits at the heavy end of the Royal Australian Mint's lunar bullion program, which has competed directly with the Perth Mint's longer-established lunar series since the early 2000s. The 6th portrait of Elizabeth II — sculpted by Jody Clark and adopted by the RAM from 2019 — appears here in one of its first major proof applications on a coin of this size.

Mintages on RAM issues at this weight tier have historically been tight, rarely exceeding four figures.
