| Reverse description | The reverse, designed by Ing Ing Jong, features a colorfully enameled composition depicting a mature ox and a young calf standing together on rocky ground, both rendered in warm brown and cream tones with fine artistic detail. A stylized plum blossom branch extends across the upper right of the field, while a traditional rural landscape with snow-capped hills and a farmstead occupies the lower left in uncolored relief. To the upper left, a 1-gram pure gold inset bears the Chinese character 牛 (Ox) within a square cartouche. The inscriptions OX and 2021 appear in the left field, with the Perth Mint's P mintmark to the lower right and the engraver's initials IJ at the base of the design. |
