Reverse description Two koalas (Phascolarctos cinereus) rendered in exceptionally fine high relief, seated together on a eucalyptus branch and depicted with meticulous naturalistic detail in their dense, textured fur. The pair are shown facing slightly inward, their clawed forepaws visible against the branch. The background features a deeply incuse, faceted geometric diamond pattern that creates striking contrasts against the sculpted animals. The designer's initials SB (Stuart Devlin) appear in the lower left field. The inscription 1 KILO 999 SILVER is incused along the lower exergue, with the Perth Mint's P mintmark present.
