| 背面描述 | A naturalistic depiction of a koala (Phascolarctos cinereus) clinging to and resting upon a eucalyptus branch, rendered in high sculptural relief with meticulous attention to the animal's characteristically tufted ears, large spoon-shaped nose, and dense fur. Sprigs of eucalyptus foliage with elongated leaves extend across the lower field, providing a botanically detailed habitat setting. The word KOALA arcs prominently in large display lettering across the upper field, while the inscription 2025 1 KILO 9999 SILVER is engraved in smaller lettering along the upper left. The Perth Mint's P mintmark appears to the right of the central device, and the designer's initials AH are incuse at the lower left of the field. |

The 2025 date makes this among the earliest Perth Mint kilogram issues to carry the first portrait of Charles III, commissioned from sculptor Samlane Phou and formally approved for Australian coinage in 2023. The transition from the Elizabeth II effigy — used on Australian coinage for over seven decades — required simultaneous die preparation across multiple weight formats, and the kilogram Koala was among the flagship pieces retooled for the new portrait cycle.
