| Obverse description | Central depiction of the Temple of Heaven (Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests) in Beijing, rendered in fine detail against a mirror-like field. The circular legend 中华人民共和国 (People's Republic of China) arcs around the upper periphery. Below the temple, a secondary inscription reads 中国熊猫金币发行25周年纪念 (Commemorating the 25th Anniversary of the Chinese Panda Gold Coin Issue), with the year 2007 appearing at the base of the design. |
