| Reverse description | A large eight-pointed Maltese cross occupies the central field, its points formed by V-shaped indentations giving the arms a faceted, star-like appearance. The date is divided into four parts and placed in the four angles between the arms of the cross. A beaded inner border separates the central device from the surrounding circular Latin legend, which runs along the full periphery of the coin. |
