| 正面描述 | Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Magnentius facing right, rendered with bold, high-relief portraiture characteristic of mid-4th century imperial coinage. The emperor's strong, idealized features are framed by short, neatly combed hair, and the paludamentum is fastened at the right shoulder with a fibula. The circumferential Latin legend D N MAG MAGNEN-TIVS P F AVG runs along the outer border, identifying the emperor as dominus noster and celebrating his piety and felicity. |

| 背面描述 | The emperor Magnentius, nimbus-crowned and in military attire, is depicted on horseback advancing to the right, raising his right hand in a gesture of salutation or authority. To the right stands a nimbus-crowned female figure, identified as Roma or a personification of the Republic, richly draped and slightly bowed in a gesture of welcome or submission, her hands extended toward the approaching horseman. The composition conveys the ideological message of Magnentius as liberator of the Roman state. The reverse legend LIBERATOR*REI*PVBLICAE arcs along the upper border, while the mint mark SMAQ appears in the exergue, denoting the fourth officina of the Aquileia mint. |
