| Additional information |
Pridnestrovie — the narrow strip of land between the Dniester River and the Moldovan-Ukrainian border — has issued commemorative coinage since the early 1990s as a deliberate assertion of institutional statehood. Unrecognized by any UN member, it nonetheless operates a functioning central bank that produces legal tender. The 3-ruble denomination sits in a mid-tier commemorative bracket the Republican Bank has used consistently for village and regional heritage subjects.
Vadaturkovo is a small settlement in the Rybnitsa district. Beyond its inclusion here, documented history specific to this locality is sparse in accessible Western sources.
