Obverse description Central device features the Russian State Emblem — a double-headed eagle with wings displayed, rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field. The denomination ТРИ РУБЛЯ (Three Roubles) arcs along the upper periphery in Cyrillic, while БАНК РОССИИ (Bank of Russia) is inscribed across the lower central field beneath the eagle. The date 2000Г. appears along the bottom rim, flanked by the silver fineness mark Ag 900 to the left and the weight indicator 31.1 to the right. The mint mark СПМД (Saint Petersburg Mint) appears to the right of the fineness mark. The entire design is contained within an inner beaded border.
