Obverse description At centre, the two-headed eagle emblem of the Bank of Russia after the design of Ivan Bilibin, set within a circle of raised dots. A semicircular legend below the eagle reads БАНК РОССИИ (BANK OF RUSSIA). The denomination ТРИ РУБЛЯ (THREE ROUBLES) is inscribed along the upper rim, and the date 2000 appears at the lower rim. To the left of the central device, the metallic composition and fineness are indicated (Ag 900); to the right, the fine metal content and the Saint Petersburg Mint monogram СПМД.
