| 正面描述 | The obverse features the State Emblem of the Russian Federation — a double-headed eagle with spread wings, each head surmounted by a crown and the whole topped by a larger imperial crown, bearing an orb in the right talon and a sceptre in the left; on the central shield, Saint George slaying the dragon. The circular legend РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ arcs along the upper rim, while БАНК РОССИИ, 3 РУБЛЯ, and the date 2022 г. appear in the lower field. The fineness designation Ag 925 is inscribed to the lower left of the eagle, and the weight indicator 31,1 appears to the lower right alongside the Saint Petersburg Mint monogram (СПМД). Two small rhombus ornaments flank the eagle at the mid-field. |

Yakutia — formally the Sakha Republic since 1992 — is the largest federal subject in Russia by area, covering roughly 3.1 million square kilometers, much of it underlain by continuous permafrost. This coin is part of the Bank of Russia's long-running series commemorating the regions that comprised the Soviet-era autonomous republics, a program that has run across multiple decades and dozens of subjects. The Yakut ASSR was established in April 1922, making the centenary year a logical occasion for the issue.
