Obverse description At the centre of the obverse, the two-headed eagle emblem of the Bank of Russia, as designed by Ivan Bilibin, is displayed in the field. A circle of dots frames the central device, with the curved legend БАНК РОССИИ (BANK OF RUSSIA) inscribed below the eagle in a semicircular arrangement. Along the upper rim appears the denomination legend ТРИ РУБЛЯ (THREE ROUBLES), while the date 2000 is placed along the lower rim. To the left of the central device, the metal designation and fineness (Ag 900) are inscribed, and to the right appear the fine metal content and the Moscow Mint monogram (ММД).
