| Beschrijving voorzijde | At the centre of the obverse, within a beaded circle, appears the two-headed eagle emblem of the Bank of Russia, depicted with wings lowered in the official heraldic style. A semicircular legend reading «БАНК РОССИИ» (BANK OF RUSSIA) is positioned below the eagle. Along the outer rim, the denomination «ТРИ РУБЛЯ» (THREE ROUBLES) arcs across the top, while the date «2005» is placed at the bottom. To the left of the beaded circle, the alloy designation and fineness «Ag 925» are inscribed, and to the right, the fine metal content «31,1» and the Moscow Mint monogram «ММД» appear. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Saint Nicholas Naval Cathedral in Kronstadt — the one commemorated here — was completed in 1913 after nearly a decade of construction and served as the central church of the Imperial Russian Navy. Following the revolution it was stripped, closed, and converted to a cinema. Restoration only began in earnest in the early 2000s, making the 2005 issue date a deliberate acknowledgment of ongoing rehabilitation work rather than a completed anniversary.
