| Obverse description | The obverse presents the Russian Federation's state emblem — a double-headed eagle with wings displayed, crowned with three imperial crowns, holding an orb and sceptre in its talons, and bearing a central shield depicting St. George slaying the dragon. The legend РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ arcs along the upper periphery in Cyrillic, flanked by two decorative rhombus ornaments at either side. Below the eagle, the issuing authority БАНК РОССИИ and denomination 3 РУБЛЯ are inscribed in two lines, with the date 2022 г. at the lower rim. To the lower left of the eagle appears the fineness indicator Ag 925, and to the lower right the weight 31,1 along with the Saint Petersburg Mint (СПМД) monogram. The coin is struck in proof quality with a deeply mirrored field contrasting against frosted relief devices. |
