Obverse description The obverse features a partial view of the Senate Building dome and the Spasskaya (Saviour's) Tower of the Moscow Kremlin, rendered in fine relief against an open field. The Moscow Mint monogram (ММД) appears to the right as the mint mark. A decorative ornamental border frames the rim inscription, which reads «ТРИ РУБЛЯ 1994 г.» (THREE ROUBLES 1994) along the upper arc and «БАНК РОССИИ» (BANK OF RUSSIA) along the lower arc, both rendered in Cyrillic capitals.
