| Reverse description | The reverse presents a detailed engraved view of the Intercession (Pokrovsky) Cathedral in Voronezh at the left, depicting the Orthodox church with its characteristic onion domes topped by crosses, surrounded by stylized foliage, all struck in silver. Dominating the right portion of the design is a large bell rendered as an applied gold insert (.999 fine), its surface engraved with decorative bands and bearing the inscription Au 999 1,55 denoting the gold content and weight. The toponym ВОРОНЕЖ (Voronezh) appears in a rectangular cartouche at the centre-lower field, and the legend ПОКРОВСКИЙ СОБОР (Intercession Cathedral) is inscribed in two lines along the bottom of the coin. The contrast between the frosted silver cathedral and the gleaming gold bell insert creates a striking bimetallic visual effect characteristic of this Russian commemorative series. |
