Description de l’avers In the centre - the Emblem of the Bank of Russia [the two-headed eagle with wings down, lower - the semicircular inscription - `БАНК РОССИИ` (BANK OF RUSSIA)] framed by a circle of dots and inscriptions along the rim: at the top - `ТРИ РУБЛЯ` (THREE ROUBLES), at the bottom -the year of issue `2002`, the letters to the left indicate the metal sign and the fineness, to the right - the fine metal content and the mint trade mark.

Description du revers In the centre - the Dionissy`s icon `The Crucifix` (painted in 1500) from the Trinity Cathedral of the PauI-Obnorsky Monastery situated close by the town Vologda (kept today in the Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow). To the left and to the right from the icon - miniatures of the XVIth century from the `Personal Annalistic Code`: `The Stay in Military Opposition on the Ugra River in the Time of Ioann III` and `The Campaign of Ioann III against Novgorod`, the inscription at the bottom - `ДИОНИСИЙ` (DIONISSY).
