| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse displays the State Emblem of the Russian Federation — a double-headed eagle crowned with three imperial crowns, holding an orb and sceptre — rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field. The legend РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ (Russian Federation) arcs along the upper periphery in Cyrillic, flanked by two small diamond-shaped ornaments at either side. Below the eagle, the inscriptions БАНК РОССИИ (Bank of Russia), 3 РУБЛЯ (3 Roubles), and 2020 г. appear in three lines. | Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse presents a detailed architectural view of the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ — the Main Church of the Russian Armed Forces — depicted in finely engraved relief at the centre of the field. The cathedral complex is shown with its characteristic multi-domed silhouette, featuring a large central gilded dome flanked by four subsidiary domes, each surmounted by an Orthodox cross, alongside a bell tower to the right. Radiating sun rays emanate from behind the central dome, filling the upper field and creating a dramatic halo effect against the mirror background, which subtly incorporates a frosted panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. The curved legend ГЛАВНЫЙ ХРАМ ВООРУЖЕННЫХ СИЛ РОСИИ arcs along the upper border, while ХРАМ ВОСКРЕСЕНИЯ ХРИСТОВА inscribed along the lower periphery completes the identification of the monument. |
