Reverse description The reverse presents a detailed architectural view of the medieval Church of Saint George (Церковь Святого Георгия) in the village of Dzivgis, North Ossetia, rendered in finely engraved relief against a frosted field. The ancient stone church, with its characteristic stepped pyramidal roof constructed of dry-laid masonry, occupies the central and right portion of the design, enclosed by a low rubble-stone perimeter wall with a arched gateway visible to the left. Mountain slopes and bare deciduous trees compose the background landscape, conveying the remote Caucasian setting. The Cyrillic legend ЦЕРКОВЬ СВЯТОГО ГЕОРГИЯ arcs along the upper border, while СЕЛО ДЗИВГИС is inscribed along the lower arc. Small decorative flora appear in the lower central field.
