| Obverse description | At centre, the official emblem of the Bank of Russia — a double-headed eagle with wings lowered — occupies the field, encircled by a beaded border. The curved legend БАНК РОССИИ (Bank of Russia) appears beneath the eagle within the inner circle. Along the upper rim runs the denomination legend ТРИ РУБЛЯ (Three Roubles), while the lower rim bears, to the left, the alloy designation and fineness (Ag 925), at centre the year of issue 2008 г., and to the right the fine metal content in grams together with the Saint Petersburg Mint mark СПМД. |
