Reverse description The reverse presents an elaborate allegorical composition commemorating the 155th anniversary of the Bank of Russia's founding. In the lower left, a perspective view of the Bank of Russia headquarters building is depicted in fine detail. The upper and central fields are filled with interlocking mechanical cogwheels and clock hands, symbolising the regulated machinery of financial oversight. Superimposed across the gears are relief images of historic Russian coins, including a Soviet chervonets of 1923 and a kopek of 1966, alongside a modern rouble coin bearing the current Rouble sign and the inscription РУБЛЬ. The right field carries a radiating list of financial institution categories in small Cyrillic lettering, representing the entities supervised by the Bank of Russia. The primary legend БАНК РОССИИ ОСНОВАН В 1860 ГОДУ arcs boldly along the lower and right periphery.
