Obverse description At center of the mirror-polished proof field, the Russian State Emblem — a relief double-headed eagle with wings displayed, facing outward — occupies the central device. The eagle is rendered with finely detailed feathering and outstretched talons, without crowns, orb, or sceptre as per the Bank of Russia coinage standard. Surrounding the central device is a beaded inner circle, within which the Cyrillic legend ТРИ РУБ. arcs along the upper periphery, while БАНК РОССИИ arcs along the lower. The date 2011 Г. appears at the bottom outside the beaded circle, flanked by bullet separators, with the alloy designation Ag 925 to the left and the weight indicator 31,1 along with the ММД mint mark to the right.
