| Obverse description | Imperial double-headed eagle vignette at upper centre, flanked on either side by the denomination numeral '3' printed in green. The left vertical border carries the inscription ГОСУДАРСТВЕННЫЙ БАНКЪ in Cyrillic letterpress. The central text panel identifies the issuing branch as the Kislovodsk Branch of the State Bank and presents a bearer order for 3 (три) рубля, with authority ascribed to the Financial Commission of the Volunteer Army. A decorative guilloche border frames the entire face, and an anti-counterfeiting warning is printed along the lower edge. |

| Reverse description | Plain paper reverse bearing a serial number at upper left and the large date inscription 1918 ГОДЪ. Two paragraphs of Cyrillic text affirm that guaranteed cheques circulate on a par with credit notes and that the sum is blocked against the depositor's current account, payable exclusively to the bearer. Manuscript signatures of the Manager (Управляющій) and Cashier (Кассиръ) appear at lower centre, accompanied by a circular official cancellation stamp of Batalpashinsk. |
