Obverse description At centre, the official emblem of the Bank of Russia — a double-headed eagle with wings lowered — occupies the field, enclosed within a circle of dots. The curved legend «БАНК РОССИИ» (Bank of Russia) arcs below the eagle within the inner circle. Along the upper rim runs the denomination inscription «ТРИ РУБЛЯ» (Three Roubles), while the date «2006» appears along the lower rim. To the left of the eagle are the metal designation and fineness (Ag 925), and to the right the fine metal content and the Moscow Mint monogram (ММД).
