| Beschrijving keerzijde | At centre, a relief portrait of the Pallas' cat (Otocolobus manul), symbol of the Moscow Zoo, rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field. Below the feline figure, a semicircular inscription reads `МОСКОВСКИЙ ЗООПАРК` (MOSCOW ZOO), accompanied to the right by a two-line inscription `150 ЛЕТ` (150 YEARS) commemorating the institution's sesquicentennial. The background depicts the historic main entrance façade of the Moscow Zoo in fine detail. A broad, frosted band encircling the design along the rim features contour images of various birds and animals associated with the zoo's collection. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Part of Russia's long-running wildlife series, this issue coincides with the Moscow Zoo's 150th anniversary — the institution was founded in 1864 under the Imperial Russian Geographical Society, making it one of the oldest zoological collections in Europe. The CBR has used commemorative silver threes to mark institutional anniversaries with considerable regularity since the 1990s, and the Moscow Zoo has appeared in the series more than once.
