Obverse description At the centre of the obverse, the double-headed eagle emblem of the Bank of Russia is depicted with wings lowered, enclosed within a beaded circle. The upper arc of the outer legend reads 'ТРИ РУБЛЯ' (Three Roubles), while the lower portion bears the date of issue '2003'. To the left of the eagle, the alloy designation and fineness ('Ag 900') are inscribed, and to the right, the fine metal content and the Moscow Mint monogram ('ММД') appear in the field.
